The season's best items AT the worst prices

Task: showcase the wide range of items available in Vällingby Centrum's stores to visitors while simultaneously promoting the partnership with their non-profit Stockholm Stadsmission. 

Challenge: environmental and consumption anxiety drives consumers away from buying new things in favor of second hand shopping and thrifting.

Solution: a pop-up store where we sold The Expensive Collection; a hand-picked collection with the season's new items from stores in Vällingby Centrum. Instead of the seasonal discounts we added 10SEK to every item. All the proceeds were donated to Stockholm Stadsmission. With The Expensive Collection we offered consumers a way to buy newly produced items with a clear conscience by connecting their action to a good cause.
